As I said before, it was mum’s birthday this weekend. We had a lot of fun! Firstly, one of mum’s best friends came here for the weekend. He is an extra special person to me as he used to live with my old dad, so I have known him for a really long time. I call him dad 2. He’s sooo much fun!
We started off the weekend by having a long sleep. In the morning we made pizzas!
They were a little over cooked, but they tasted good! or so I was told 😦
Next up, we went for a long walk around the local park. We always see lots of different dogs there and walk around different trails. It’s huge – there is three lakes within the park, watersports, a playground area and a wooded area which goes back for miles..but we haven’t explored that yet.

It totally exhausted me! That night (Saturday), we watched some films. They were fantastic! One of them, Idiocracy, was about a future in which everybody was stupid and one average Joe had to save the world. Check out the trailer:
Next up, we watched Fantastic Planet, an French cartoon style movie from the 70’s about aliens who keep humans as pets. It really made mum think about how she keeps me as a pet!
Anyway, I heard mum say she would recommend them to anyone. So maybe if you are reading this, you should give them a go!
When we woke up the next day, it was mum’s birthday! We all ran downstairs to open up presents. I know it wasn’t my birthday, but I did REALLY well and got some great stuff. The best thing was my new basket, which is really plush and comfy. I’ve barely gotten out of it since I got it!

And this is when my favourite part of the weekend happened. I GOT TO GO TO THE WOODS!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 I haven’t been to the woods for a long time, and this was the first time mum took me. As soon as I got there, I saw squirrels, birds and some other animals… I ran for them all and went a bit crazy! Mum and dad 2 found this hilarious and filmed me… I was a bit camera shy at first, but once I got into the swing of it I was jumping and shaking my booty for the camera. I love the final cut of the compilation they made – it’s to my favourite song, check it out!
